Above are photos of Nicole arriving in Australia on Good Friday more than willing to show baby Sunday Rose off to the Paparazzi. Sometimes its advisable to give the Paps what they want, then they might leave you alone. Apparently Keith ducked for cover which doesn't make sense. His fan base is not that big here. Or did he just move out of the way because Nicole hogs the cameras? Mmmm, I think we know the right answer, folks.
As mentioned on this Blog a couple of weeks ago, the purpose of this Kurban visit is to check out renovations on their Bunya Hill Homestead and to see if the dirt hill has subsided after recent heavy rains.

Oh dear ... the black cap and glasses have returned. let me guess, Keith was too embarrassed to be seen with her and hid in the Men's toilet!
Or maybe Keith just didn't want to be part of this staged photo op. Wonder how Bella & Connor are doing.
I was wondering too about Bella and Connor when I saw this pic. I guess this is her 'new' family now. Goodbye old times.
The more I see these photos, the more they really piss me off. To me, Sunday Rose looks freaked out. Kidman just went down even further on my list after this stunt. She's a child Nicole! Not a fucking prop for a photo op!
I wont even check it yet...but are JJ and/or GG all over these photo ops? You couldnt even tell that kidman is so "escared" of the aussie paps terrorizing her little sunri with their harsh camera flashes, would you. A dead movie career would snatch the convictions of even "William Wallace to cave to the english!" (and by that, I AM refering to sexist anti-semite mel gibson...another immigrant aussie with a movie career resting in peace) And again the poor kid looks listless and catatonic...must be from the thin and anemic blood she unfortunately inherited from kidman.
I think Sunday is cute as a button ... I also think her mother is using her as a pawn to show her "subjects" her motherly skills.
So much for her protecting the baby from the paparazzi. I bet it's scary for a "real little thing" like Sunday...no?
Hello IMAHICK
Definitely scary for little Sunday. Have you noticed the child never smiles in photos. She is probably wondering where her Nanny is. And once again, in one of these photos Nicole doesn't quite know what to do with her arm ... "Do I put this hand on Sunday's back, or her head?"
LOVE IT!
Don't be so rotten. It must be hard for Nicole having the cameras on her the whole time. You think she likes having to display the poor kid to the prying cameras? Nicole is actually a very shy person. Don't you know anything?
ANON 3:10pm
SHY? Are we talking about the same person here? Why don't you check out the photos on this Blog, perhaps the header photos from Japan, and then let me know if you'd like to reconsider. Also, a shy person does not go showing off her i-Phone photos of her baby at a big party! A shy person usually stays away from such parties...
Shy schmy - some people are so fricking gullible, 40 year old women are not shy.
I had the misfortune of hearing and seeing Keith on TV the other day for the first time. Middle of the road mediocrity at best. Suits Kidman to a T.
Frewt
Anon 3:10. Are you serious? Look at all the photos that Nicole has provided back to last fall. Look again at these photos. Does her face look like she isn't enjoying this? If she really didn't want to put a show on for the paps, then she would have "ducked for cover" like Keith did. Even in the photos from LAX, you could see she could care less if Sunday Rose was being photographed. Go look again at the first photos we saw of Sunday in London. The woman knows what she's doing & I hope it backfires on her.
And a shy person doesn't make it a habit of wearing see-thru clothing on red carpets or constantly doing movies with sex & nudity.
Oh, & you can see her PR rep Wendy Day standing behing her in a few of these photos.
I agree with Jen: Nicole is obviously also using her kid for publicity purposes. There are plenty of actresses who you never see photographed with their children. I've never seen Sigourney Weaver's kid or Frances MacDormand's kid or even know if Meryl Streep has any kids! Nicole Kidman is quite the fame-whore. She could have quite easily sent the baby ahead with the nanny if she wanted to protect her privacy, but she wouldn't miss the opportunity of a photoshoot which is why the whole world knows about Sunday Rose. Furthermore, Kidman never misses a trick, making publicity seeking statements like 'Sunday Rose has a crush on Russell Crowe's son (which trades on Crowe's fame), etc. Nicole wouldn't have married just anybody (for love) but seeks out famous men (Cruise & Urban) to keep her in the spotlight - all classic signs of being an irrepressible fame-whore who can't live without the public attention of being a 'movie star'. The sad thing is that the child isn't a prop or has a choice about the public attention that the parents foists upon it. If she was the shy and private person that she claims to be she would know better.
ANON 9:31
Agree with everything you have said. I am still surprised that Nicole stated from the start that she would not expose Sunday but now does at any chance. The baby has no say in this, and frankly, the little one looks scared. Many children of famous parents grow up with problems. What chance does this kid have when she is living with a famewhore Mom and a father who doesnt seem to want to hold her? Sad reality is the stable family relations like Grandparents and Aunties, Uncles all live in Australia where the Kurbans refuse to live. I think it is selfish of Keith and Nicole to put their lifestyles ahead of Sunday when they were the ones who desperately wanted a baby. Sunday should be living in Oz near her grandparents not in some distant American town like Nashville. All because Keith needs to be near the 'sound'. What rot.
I bet half of you people aren't mothers and don't understand the hard decision it would be for Nicole to show Sunday or not. I've seen Nicole interviewed stacks of times and she is a nervous shy person. You are all wrong about her. It is probably her PR person telling her what to do. THe PR person probably told Keith to stay out of the photos. Sunday is too young to know what is going on anyway, do you really think the kid would be scared in her mum's arms?
Well, they are ,after all, human beings (imperfect as we all are). Whether they are famous or not they are a son & daughter, brother & sister, husband & wife, mother & father. I'm sure that all of these occasions where they are photgraphed are not as thought out and planned as some say they are. They just happen the way they happen. In the end they have JOBS in the spotlight but more important than any of that they have their own personal lives with those they love. We don't have one inkling of what their lives are like. They apparently are doing what THEY feel is best. Are their choices always right, probably not but it's not for us to judge or say. What they do affects them and theirs. I am personally a KU fan but I also wish every good and positive thing for him and his. After the substance abuse issues he's overcome I'm just thankful he isn't 6 feet under a cold slab and a stone with his name on it. They are human beings and as Keith has said "a work in progress". Yes they make mistakes, we all do but we don't have people watching our every move picking us apart when we fall short. I truly hope that in 40-45 years they are still together and still happy and still the people God created them to be. Sunday Rose is blessed to have 2 parents who love her and an extended family that are thrilled to spend time with her. Publicity is just that but when the cameras are gone and the doors are closed they are basically just like you and me with the good, the bad and the ugly.
You are rather naive to think that they are just like you and me. Quite the opposite. I don't need to be in the spotlight or to share my life with the public. These people who have a PR entourage (because some actresses don't) want the public to know when they are arriving or leaving a country, otherwise you wouldn't have all these people on the payroll. They need the attention because it's like a drug to them. They are exhibitionistic narcissists who need this type of exposure because it makes them feel loved and important (which is rather sad). I can imagine that behind closed doors all they think about are their looks; their career; and their next photo op. Judging by the state of Nicole Kidman (who once used to be a beautiful woman) I bet she spends a great deal of time thinking about whether she should get more lip filler or botox injections or a new wig or what she's going to wear... or whether her next film will flop. I suggest you rent the DVD of Imitation of Life or Sunset Boulevard to learn what these people are really like., or try reading 'Mommie Dearest'.
ANON 11:40 & 12:31
You both bring interesting points of view to the table. Although I am more inclined to go with 12:31's point of view. I have seen Sunset Boulevarde and know exactly what you mean. I wouldn't be surprised if Madam Kidman lived a similar existence to that older woman one day.
Movie Stars don't generally make good parents. I remember Maria Riva, Marlene Dietrich's daughter saying in an interview that while she had respect for 'Dietrich, the movie star' she had great reservations about 'Dietrich as a person' which is kind of a strange thing to say about your mom. I guess there wasn't much love between them. It must be horrible to be raised by nannies because your mom is too busy and self-obsessed to really care about you. Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Lana Turner, Marlene Dietrich were all huge movie stars in their day, but according to their daughters as mothers they were failures.
I remember reading how Kidman started filming a new movie two weeks after giving birth and thinking it kind of strange after all the publicity she made about wanting a child so badly. I tend to agree with the others about her using this kid for extra publicity. What she says in interviews and how she behaves, don't add up.
Choice,
Keith didn't want this baby. He wanted to wait a couple of years if not more. Also he said his life wouldn't have been better or worse if he didn't have a children. Nicole wanted this child for the pr it would give her. It has been said if you want pr get a husband or have a baby. As you can see the only time they talk about Nicole is if Keith or the baby is involved.
Its a female ego thing having a child at 40 - I know I've been there. You think: I must give birth, I'm a woman, all women do it, I must do it too or I'm really missing out! You're not thinking about the long term consequences, you just want to have a baby so you aren't denied the experience. Fortunately, I realised that I really was too old to mother a child at that age and I was only doing it for selfish reasons so I abandoned the process (IVF that is). Further, its known that a lot of men are ambivalent generally about kids - they usually go along with it for the woman's sake. I'd say that's exactly what happened with KunK.
I totally agree with Linda - stars, no matter how beloved they are or how wholesome their public persona, generally are too selfish to make good parents. And as an examply I'll cite 'Our Livvy'. How f*cked up is her daughter Chloe with the plastic surgery and the anorexia? She has said herself she often felt abandoned by her parents when she was a teen. I believe Olivia was way too busy milking her own fame to put in the hard yards with her daughter and the results speak for themselves.
