I felt so much love for the surrogate

LEFT: On their honeymoon in 2006, long before the kids arrived
RIGHT: With Sunday, the child Nicole carried without any surrogate help
Nicole Kidman was interviewed on Australia's Sixty Minutes tonight. The birth of Faith Margaret to a surrogate (rumoured to be her personal assistant), is an experience Kidman refers to as  "deeply emotional, moving."

"Having given birth and then being there to see my child born in that way, I felt so much love for our surrogate, gestational carrier," said Kidman.

Kidman also explained why she uses the term 'gestational carrier' as opposed to 'surrogate' - something she was criticised for in the days following the announcement of baby Faith's birth.

"We were trying to be accurate," she shares. "The term 'gestational carrier' is used if it's your biological child and if it isn't, then you use 'surrogate.'

Perhaps the real reason she used the term 'gestational carrier' is to make sure people believe  her own 43 year old eggs were used. Not for a minute does she want you to believe otherwise. I mean, does it really matter? She should love the baby regardless of whether it is biologically hers or not.

Opening up about her roller-coaster ride with fertility, Kidman reveals, "Anyone that's been in the place of wanting a child knows the disappointment, the pain and the loss you go through. Struggling with fertility is such a big thing and it's not something that I would run away from talking about. We were in a place of desperately wanting another child and I couldn't get pregnant," she says tearfully. "I get emotional just talking about it, because I'm so grateful."

Wonderful that the surrogate was able to help  .... again?

Why is it that Nicole feels needs to bring up Tom in every interview? She really isn't over losing Tom is she. Would be hard for Keith trying tofill that void. Right?

Yes Choice, why is it so important to NK that the world believe that these are her biological children? Imagine how that makes her adopted children feel.

Why is this bitch always given so much exposure? Dont the media realise most of the world can see through this fake thing? She makes me quite ill the way she carries on. Perez Hilton used to pay out on this bitch really good, then he suddenly liked her. Maybe she sent him some money?

Because of this weirdo's need to justify her actions -- because she thinks she's steps ahead anticipating our reactions to her bizarre choices -- some of us can guess what the real truth may be, aka reverse psychology. Here like some of you mentioned her need to prove her eggs (like she has them) were used, she likely doesn't have them -- what preggers celebrities go there, most of the time we accept their eggs were used. Because she had paraded her PA in the late Sum Fall 2010 to show the world she wasn't carrying her 2nd baby, I guess here, she likely was, and gave birth in win 2010...a real STUPID, simpleton, DUH.

Clearly mikki, the reason they used that VERY "dehumanizing" term "gestational carrier" WAS to put over the point that they were the biological parents...for kidman surely has issues with say, her former "adoptive" children. She no doubt believes her "blood" children would NEVER at some point reject her! I would claim she is uttering wrong on that point...she most definately suffers from a severe case of narcissism and self centeredness...these "biological" kids will no doubt grow up with the same sense of neglect and indifference that her former "adopted" children clearly feel from her.

why do you people hate her so much. she is a very nice person to be a mum. she is not as selfish as you think. It is selfish people who don't have children. Think about this.

Another PR gimmick of hers...her name is popping up under celebrities with high IQ, with the ranks of jfoster(yale),nportman(harvard),mdaman(harvard),jwoods(mit), etc. Her people NUTS? Yeah, hopping unto this international charity ambassadorship was easy, but this high IQ category is downright laughable, has no sembalnce to reality whatsoever...the nerve. Next thing we know she'll start to guest on recognizable cook shows like pawtrow, garner and others. Anything for exposure heh....

Anon 12:45pm for all the women out there who haven't had children, can't have children or don't want to have children (myself included): fuck you. Having kids doesn't make you a saint, nor does it make you selfless. Plenty of assholes who shouldn't have kids have them for very selfish reasons so maybe you should grow the hell up and think before you type.

I just think it's ironic that Keith is now faced with being the father of two girls, especially after how he's treated women his whole life.

Karma is a bitch. And I don't think it's done with Mr. Keith Kidman yet.
